As a Partner with Machado Law Group, Arian serves as the firm’s lead attorney for Government Contracts and Construction Law. Arian takes pride in solving complex legal problems with ingenuity, diligence, and efficiency.

Arian brings a practical, detail-oriented approach to advising boards of education on procurement, public contracting, and school construction matters. By focusing on compliance, risk management, and efficient problem-solving, he partners with clients to support successful capital projects and public purchasing initiatives. Arian’s practice encompasses all aspects of public contracting and school construction law, including advising on Public School Contracts Law and Local Public Contracts Law, competitive bidding and procurement requirements, and contract negotiation and drafting. He regularly counsels clients on construction and facilities projects, including bid specifications and project manuals, change orders and claims management, construction delay and defect issues, and disputes. Arian also assists districts with cooperative purchasing, state grant compliance, contract administration, and regulatory obligations tied to capital projects.

In addition to his government contracts and construction practice, Arian advises boards of education on a broad range of school law matters, including general legal issues, student matters, and labor and employment matters.

Arian received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from the Honors College at Rutgers University–Newark. While attending law school, he was named a Paul Fuller Scholar and served as an Associate Editor of the Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Law Journal. He also served as a student attorney with the Samuel Glushko Intellectual Property and Information Law Clinic and volunteered with the International Refugee Assistance Project. Arian is admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey.
