Christine Bernacki Smith, Esq.

Christine’s extensive background in litigation brings a unique perspective to the firm. Her experience includes the representation of both individuals and public entities in a broad array of civil litigation matters, both before state court and administrative agencies. Her practice includes discovery, motions, depositions, mediation, arbitration and appellate work. Christine first works with clients to establish their goals and then assists them to achieve the best practical result possible, with an eye towards the reduction of costs.

In addition, Christine was a court appointed attorney in guardianship matters, as seen fit by the New Jersey Superior Court. She has also represented children in matters of abuse and neglect through the Office of the Law Guardian.

Christine served as the law clerk to the Honorable Peter B. Cooper, J.S.C., New Jersey Superior Court, Essex County Chancery Division, Probate Part. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the College of the Holy Cross, and her Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law.

Christine was an Officer and elected President of the Summit Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York.
